A Story from Editor's Desk:

It's a real experience of my best friend. Though it is a small instance, it made me realize that there is some humanity in this materialistic world.  It helped to awaken me from a deep sleep of irresponsibility. Yes being humans is not a scientific difference from other animals, its a sense of being superior to other animals by helpfulness and kindness.

My friend once went to a near by village to buy some envelopes.  Since it is a small village there are no many shops. These are the shops that took their existence because of our college near by it. Only our college staff and students are their customers. My friend went to a shop which is an all-in-one store. Most of the students come here because all most every needed item of their will be available here. She asked envelopes. The owner of the shop replied (to her astonishment): "please ask for them at the adjacent shop". She exclaimed to his reply and thought that this shop may be out-of-stock. Again the owner of the same shop replied, "My business is a big one and previously I used to keep these envelopes with me but later I noticed the adjacent shop. That shop is maintained by a  poor chap who is physically challenged and he sells these envelopes too. I won't get a great damage to my business if I won't sell these envelopes but if I won't sell these envelopes he may get some profit. He has very less items to sell unlike me. So I decided not to keep envelopes in my shop."

Out of admiration my friend's eyes overflown and she stood turning behind without a step out of that shop as her eyes are wet and could not see even the steps out. She silently thought in her mind wiping her eyes, "is this the humanity?;  is this what everyone of us lacking?; is this the way humans have to live?."

See even this small sacrifice by the big shop owner will help that poor shop owner a lot. We hardly find people like these in this materialistic world. Everyone of us are very busy thinking of ourselves. We have no time to think  about other's. That too in terms of a business mind, I think what he did is a great job. Because in business people won't mind about others and their profits.  Its not the matter how much you help others, humanity is all about how much you love others. Its not a story to make you all teach a leason but its a proof to humanity. Yes humanity exists..... Please make it live and grow........Please help it from extinction.
